This project was formally launched in January 2016, seeking to document the lives and stories of the people in Cambodia and especially the generation that came of age in the 1950’s and 1960’s. We will continue posting interviews, transcriptions, and translations in the near future. Interviews are mostly in the subjects’ primary language (Mainly Khmer, but potentially Chinese, Vietnamese, etc.) To date (August 2018) we have approximately 1800 interviews–––both audio and video.
